Refund Policy
Official MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL public policies. Package agreements and the Custom Website Agreement remain authoritative for package-specific purchase terms where more specific.
Policy version: REFUND-v1.0-2026-10-15. FINAL production Refund Policy for standard checkout packages, with Custom Build rules preserved from the approved Custom Website Agreement.
1. Standard checkout packages (AS-IS / DIY / Done-For-You)
For the standard PROFILE checkout packages — AS-IS ($149), DIY ($299), and Done-For-You ($699) — the following applies:
- Before Stripe Checkout, the customer must complete a Final Purchase Acknowledgement confirming they reviewed the selected package and exact price, reviewed/accepted the applicable package agreement, reviewed this Refund Policy, and authorize MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL to fulfill the purchase upon successful payment.
- By proceeding to checkout and completing payment, the customer authorizes fulfillment of the purchased package.
- Once payment is successfully completed, the purchase is non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly provided by the controlling agreement.
2. Custom Build (Route #4) — controlling agreement preserved
This Refund Policy does not replace or contradict the approved Custom Build cancellation/refund provisions. The Custom Website Agreement remains authoritative for Custom Build-specific refund and cancellation rules, including:
Production Deposit earned / non-refundable after production begins
The $1,250 Production Deposit becomes earned and non-refundable once this Agreement has been signed, the deposit has been paid, MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL has accepted the project, and production has actually begun. If MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL cancels the project before production begins or is unable to begin the agreed project, the Production Deposit will be refunded.

Mid-Project Payment
The $625 Mid-Project Payment is triggered only when the project reaches approximately fifty percent (50%) completion and the required progress update or preview has been provided. Cancellation after that milestone does not cancel or refund an earned Mid-Project Payment.

Incomplete work / no turnover of unfinished projects
MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL DOES NOT TURN OVER INCOMPLETE WEBSITE PROJECTS. Payments already earned under this Agreement for production deposits, completed milestones, and services rendered remain earned and are not refundable as provided elsewhere in this Agreement. A partial payment does not purchase a proportional share of an unfinished website and does not create a right to receive unfinished development work.

4. Policy status
- This Refund Policy is the FINAL production Refund Policy for MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL.
- Custom Build agreement refund/cancellation provisions remain controlling for Route #4.
- Final Purchase Acknowledgement is required in MY MD PROFILE before Stripe Checkout for Routes #1–#3.
