Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy incorporates YAKA-approved privacy business rules and describes practices in use for MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL systems. Policy version: PRIVACY-v1.0-2026-10-15.

1. Information we collect

MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL collects information needed to create and operate client accounts and deliver services, including:

• Account and contact information — such as name, email address, and password (stored as a password hash).
• Customer-provided business and project information — such as business name and project details supplied through MY MD PROFILE and related systems.
• Transaction and payment records — such as package selection, amounts, payment status, and Stripe checkout/session identifiers needed to confirm purchase.
• Agreements and acceptances — including package agreement acceptance records and Terms/Privacy acknowledgements (policy/version identification and timestamp).
• Necessary technical and security records — such as authentication/session records and operational logs required to secure and operate the platform.

2. Payment-card processing

Stripe processes payment-card information for package purchases and related payments. MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL does not store full payment-card numbers. PROFILE retains payment-related metadata needed for order fulfillment and records (for example payment status and Stripe session identifiers), not full card numbers.

3. Service providers / processors actually used

MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL uses the following trusted service providers where necessary to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing and checkout.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for account and system messages (sender address currently configured as noreply@mayakaaldigital.com).

This list identifies providers actually in use for these functions. It is not a generic third-party inventory.

4. Retention

MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL retains information only as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, satisfy applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. No arbitrary fixed retention periods are stated here beyond that standard.

5. Cookies and session technologies

MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL uses cookies and similar session technologies required for login, authentication, security, and operation of MY MD PROFILE and related commercial entry points (including secure session cookies). This Privacy Policy does not claim advertising or tracking technologies unless and until such technologies are actually used.

6. We do not sell personal information

MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL does not sell customers’ personal information.

8. Acknowledgement at account creation

During Become a Client account creation, the customer must affirmatively check an acknowledgement that they have reviewed the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before the account can be created. Direct links to Terms and Privacy are provided. Where technically appropriate, MAYAKA'AL DIGITAL preserves an auditable record of that acknowledgement, including policy/version identification and timestamp associated with the customer record. This acknowledgement is not blanket consent for unrelated optional marketing, advertising, or future data uses.
